BRAIDED wood replete with emotion

Not only does MUTO GRID connect essential elements, shapes and surfaces with emotional components,  it becomes a unique identifying feature in the development of exclusive designs and spatial characters.

Easy to process

The veneer sheets can be processed without any problems, like normal spliced and fleece-backed veneers, and pressed onto panels with any common veneer press without any further difficulties. The surfaces can be varnished on request to round off the process.

Authentic, with no ifs and buts

Smaller knots and nubs contribute movement to the structure, make the noble patterns even more exciting and lend the surfaces their natural charm. The liveliness of the wood, in which the grain is accentuated even in thinner strips, makes for atmospheric spaces.

Extravagant

With the MUTO GRID EXCLUSIVE DESIGN, you can select from no fewer than 140 wood species, which are processed artisanally by muto' itself. We are flexible about the size of the formats as well, which adds another facet to the scope of design.

MUTO GRID
IN OAK

In many cultures, the oak was considered a sacred tree and valued for its size, hardness and longevity. Oak has a medium-coarse texture and often exhibits an irregular or cross-grain grain. In addition, beautiful grain structures or stripes can be seen on the longitudinal surfaces, which lend a decorative touch to the light yellow to medium and dark brown colored wood. The large and wide rays of the wood underline this decorative character like vibrant mirrors or spindles.

MUTO GRID
IN FINELINE TYPE OAK GRAY

This is a technical veneer in a trendy grey hue. This type of wood owes its striped veneer pattern to its manufacturing process. In this process, the trunks are peeled, and veneers produced are glued together to form a block after a dyeing process. This block is then sliced and the finished fineline veneers with their reproducible appearance are created.

This is a technical veneer in a reddish-brownish hue. The veneer pattern is strongly reminiscent of the look of wenge veneers. With this veneer, the trunks are peeled, and veneers produced are glued together to form a block after a dyeing process. This block is then sliced and the finished fineline veneers with their reproducible appearance are created.

MUTO GRID Exclusive Design

In addition to the available designs in the MUTO GRID product collection, individual variants are also possible according to customer requirements. There are virtually no limits to the imagination here: More than 140 wood species can be flexibly combined. Many patterns known from weaving can be realized. The only requirement is that the veneer strips are wider than 2 cm. The choice is also yours when it comes to size. MUTO GRID EXCLUSIVE can be produced up to a maximum size of approx. 3,050 mm x 1,220 mm. The minimum order quantity for the conception and production of special collections or new designs is approx. 100 square meters. The production time is two to six weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and the quantity ordered.
