Every tree is unique. We at muto' know that! There is nothing more important to us than preserving the beauty of nature. That is why muto' supports sustainable forestry. We primarily use FSC®-C130350-certified wood, thus guaranteeing our customers that this valuable raw material is handled responsibly.

Veneer for sustainably planned construction projects

Veneer surfaces can make any object look authentically natural and their breathtaking variety of designs is impressive. At the same time, veneer is also wood in its most economical and environmentally friendly form.

In order to support this natural cycle, muto' prefers to obtain its logs from forest owners who practice controlled logging and continuous reforestation in their forests and are for the most part FSC®-C130350-certified. If you are interested and already have clear specifications for quality standards and certificates for planned construction projects, please contact us – we will find the right logs for your property.

Sustainably managed forests – this means that they never harvest more wood than what will grow back. Only the oldest and best logs are used for veneer harvesting, and only individual trees at the end of their cycle are removed from the forest. The forest closes this gap quickly and it enables the growth of younger generations of trees. Veneer trunks achieve top prices, with the proceeds of which forest owners can in turn carry out protection and reforestation measures for sustainable mixed forests.

muto' has been FSC®-C130350-certified since 2020. Founded in 2015 as a subsidiary of the veneer specialists Schorn & Groh, the team has impressive expertise in veneer production with its own production facility for spliced veneers in southern Germany, and it has access to one of the largest veneer warehouses in Europe.
